DINNER AND A MOVIE II

Back in the Spring, we did our first Dinner & a Movie event which featured The Big Night as part of our 10th Anniversary celebration. People are still calling and asking when are we going to do it again! Well, we have a new movie to feature.
Back in 2000, video director and New York restaurateur, Bob Giraldi, released Dinner Rush to universal acclaim. It tells the story of an old time restaurant owner (Danny Aiello) and his wunderkind chef son, as they try to deal with each other and the Mafia. There are great performances by John Corbett and Sandra Bernhard. The release was very limited and it ran in Milwaukee for only a week, and did not come out on DVD until this year.
This is an awesome restaurant movie that makes RoccoS Reality show look tame by comparison. We are calling all foodies to join us for dinner at Ristorante Bartolotta and the movie on the big screen at the nearby Rosebud Cinema. Chef Juan Urbieta's four-course menu is themed to the movie and served with matching wines.

PIEDMONTESE WINEMAKER DINNER FEATURING GIANLUCA VIBERTI OF VIBERTI WINERY

We are very pleased to announce a winemaker dinner with third generation winemaker GianLuca Viberti of Viberti wines. GianLucas grandfather Antonio created a small winery from a converted farmhouse nearly 100 years ago.
Located in the town of Barolo, in Piedmont, Viberti wines are relative newcomers and are still hand-made, keeping total production under 4,000 cases a year. Quality is high, preserving the true flavors of traditional Piedmont wines.
Viberti wine selection features Barolo, Barbera, Chardonnay, and Dolcetto.
Chef Juan Urbieta will use his skills acquired from working in Italy for a year to match these wonderful wines in a five-course food and four-wine dinner.
